The staff were welcoming and helpful, the young girl on reception booked a taxi for us when we needed it and the girl on breakfast duty filled my water bottle without any bother. The bar staff were friendly and chatty. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The choice of food was really good, very tasty and well presented.

The staff are, without a doubt, the biggest asset to this hotel, followed by great food and lovely immaculately clean rooms. We were greeted by a lovely lady on reception who was so helpful, and the restaurant staff were knowledgeable and happy, providing a fab service. The rooms were beautifully clean, and the housekeeping team was equally friendly. Location is great for Arundel. You could drive or walk into the castle/town.. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend break :)

The hotel is situated in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very comfortable. A gentleman called Lewis who served us the food was extremely friendly and helpful and very pleasant. Food was amazing.

It was such a great hotel ... We only stayed at the White Swan for one evening and found it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by very efficient staff throughout the whole hotel. Our room was very comfortable with twin beds and all the added trimmings of coffee, tea and biscuits. Free onsite parking and wifi. Make sure you have a meal in the restaurant and try the cold ales in the bar, you won't be disappointed. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was lovely, and I liked being able to open the window for some fresh air. The bed was really comfy too, which made it easy to relax. The cooked breakfast choices were all delicious and freshly cooked, with the added tasty selection of help yourself items. We also had the gorgeous Sunday carvery! The bar area was great to sit in – lots of different spots, and chair styles, all with their own different feel. There were even giant noughts and crosses (and other games around) which was really fun. But the greatest asset of the White Swan was the lovely & exceptionally helpful, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely stay there again if we visit Arundel. And the walk to Arundel, through the woods, away from the main road, was a very pleasant stroll.

Lovely very friendly and helpful staff from all areas. All the staff from reception, chefs and bar staff we met engaged and made conversation and able to have a laugh with. Food although a little pricey was excellent and varied and that made you feel it was worth paying that little extra. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice and you could have variations on the menu without being made to feel that it was an issue. Lovely that you got a free drink voucher with your evening meal both nights. Location was on a main road but could not hear the traffic at night, lovely gardens and beautiful flowers.
